-The museum offers Art Educators who can come directly to public schools for "Art Talks"
-They offer resource packets full of lesson plans that have already been tried out on students
-They offer image packets that contain large prints of artwork with curriculum connections to use on the back
-Students can be encouraged to enter the all-state High School show.
Teachers can also expand their own training by attending art seminars, lectures, classes, and events. They offer "Evening for Educators" workshops that count towards recertification.
There are events for different age groups: Family community night, College night (for college students), Happening (for High School students), Art Slam/Fall Fest,
Other ideas:
-Bring a camera and take pictures or shoot video, then have your students on a virtual tour in class later.
-Invite an employee (like a curator) to visit your classroom and give a presentation to the students.
-Promote art within the students' families by encouraging families and kids to go to the Monday Night activity
-Cause inspiration before assignments by showing images or taking to gallery--help them to open their minds and break out of the box.
-Have students go on a scavenger hunt in the museum.
The general public can also use this museum for: hosting weddings, boy scout trips, family teaching, family home evenings.
